To rent a boat, you’ll need a valid driver’s license. If you’re born after 1988, a boating safety course certificate is also required. Don’t worry, it’s easy to find online courses!

There is no age limit for being a passenger on a boat with Compass Boat Rentals. Our Anna Maria Island boat rentals and tours are perfect for the whole family!

Although, we do have minimum age requirements for the following:

To Rent – Ages: 18+
To Drive – Ages: 21+

At the time of delivery, you will receive a boat with a full tank of fuel.

When you return your boat rental, you have the options of either:

• Bringing the boat back with a full tank of gas, or
• Having us fill the tank for you for the cost of the fuel plus a $25.00 service fee.

Absolutely! We love furry friends. Just let us know ahead of time so we can prepare accordingly. Make sure to bring a life jacket for your pet too!

No worries! You can opt for a captained boat rental if you’d rather relax and enjoy the ride. Safety first!

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Within 48 hours, customers are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
